Best Friends Animal Society is a leading animal welfare organisation working to find lost pets and giving them a safe house. BFAS runs a lifesaving programs all across the country, as well as the nation’s largest no-kill animal sanctuary.

Project Overview

A safe shelter for lost pet

The vision was to have a proper system to collect the data of lost pets, find them, and give them the needed care at a safe shelter, till they reach their right homes. Without a system, tracking the lifecycle of a pet from the lost stage till it gets a family and managing across different welfare organisation was a real challenge.

## How can you be a part? The BFAS applications solves current challenge by having a proper timeline structure for the management of the pet data and organisations. The app will be managed by Best Friends Animal Society team. Every animal welfare organisation with a care shelter can be part of BFAS. Shelter owners and Animal Control Officer (ACO) can use the application to coordinate pets across shelters.
